We are considering building a feature that will make it easier for you to connect with other organizations near you or other organizations doing similar work elsewhere in the world. The goal is to connect like-minded organizations to share what's working and to learn from each other.

Great idea! I use a platform called Bokun for my tour company and it is a one stop shop for tour companies to work together and earn commission from one another as well as connecting with hotels, hostels, essentially everyone. It would be amazing to implement this with NGO´s where they could have a one stop shop with multiple tabs - one for countries, type of NGO, projects, fundraisers, calendars etc. and have one tab for a MARKETPLACE where each NGO can send and accept proposals from other NGO´s and in multiple languages (google translate) so everyone can work all together in ONE SPOT

This is an amazing idea. 
Features like "Locate Similar Interest Organizations" or 
"Find nearest NGO in selected area" could prove effective ... "Your NGO was searched ...times" like options will create interest to visit other NGOs page and may be it can be taken forward to focused discussions or group meetings.

This will definitely enhanced the capability and capacity for small organizations to network. Would you consider facilitation of like minded organizations to have shared learning dialogue at least yearly?

Anna Spinks: Hi Anna! This is on my radar but have not yet had the chance to dive into it. I think there's a lot of potential with that tool so I'll definitely look into how we can utilize it in that group.

This is a noble idea, It will help organizations identify and network with the like-minded whom they share share interests, enhance their visibility, mobilize local resources and international to support their causes. I think the idea should be embraced and be actualized. It will also help us identify our areas of weakness and strengths as well learn and improve in such areas as we pull resources together in support of one another.
