I think Global Giving should have an account icon where at a glance we will know how much we have raised, how much has been disbursed so far, how much Global Giving is taken as fees and how much is left for future potential disbursement.
This is in the Spirit of transparency!
The current practice of leaving on display only the total raised so far is quite misleading in my opinion.
I don't know per se hów much we have left in our Global Giving account at any point in time and there is no where for me to check.
I had to use my phone calculator to do the maths and that's just disbursement because no where the Global Giving fees on donation is documented on dashboard.
So it is hard to know when we should expect and how much our next disbursement should be.
I really wish the GG team to take this up as a matter of urgency and transparency!

Now you can filter donations by disbursement status, so to see approximately how much money you have pending, just filter to "undisbursed." Please note this number won't account for GlobalGiving fees.
We decided on this solution since there were a lot of financial technicalities in showing the "exact" amount to expect in your next disbursement, and it would have taken a long time to sort those out. So while it's not exact, this feature should give you a pretty good idea of how much to expect in your next disbursement!

Kevin Conroy: I will like to know the update on this. I have not received any further disbursement from my account and it is not clear whether we have met the threshold for another. I think we have from my own calculations but since there is no where on my dashboard to see if from GG perspective we have it is difficult to know what to do. This is the reason it is important to have such information on our account page and I think it is really quite simple. I will appreciate expedited action. Thank you

It may still be a few months before we launch it as we have a number of other projects and priorities in addition to this important feature. In the short run, you can email us with any questions about your outstanding balance (we don't want to discuss specific details for anyone's account in a public forum!)
